I was goofin off with my friends and accidentally smashed the face into a metal railing. It ripped off the paint and left scars in the metal on the railing. The watch...not even a little scratch. I swim with it at the gym every day with no problem. I haven't worn a watch in years and was not sure what the current style was in men's watches. One of my friends suggested this to me and I was not disappointed. This thing is massive, but in a very refined way. Number one, it doesn't have jewels so it is not gaudy and the blue dial adds an extra bit of uniqueness that makes it stand out. If you are a fan of Invicta watches, you already know this is a large watch. Not as large as some of my other invicta's though, which isn't a bad thing. Not too heavy. feels solid. had to remove four sections of the strap to fit my wrist (all of my invictas). I believe this model came out in 2009, but it surely is a beaut! excellent watch to add to the collection! missing a star because the circles in the watch cover the numbers on the face (not that I utilize them anyway) so its hard to read the numbers.
